Johnny Weissinger

Site Vice President of Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 & 2

Johnny Weissinger became Site Vice President of Vogtle Units 1&2 in December 2023, after serving as both Plant Manager and Site Vice President at Plant Hatch.

Prior to joining SNC in June of 2020, he served as site engineering director at Clinton Power Station. Importantly, Johnny gained recovery experience on three occasions. He has served as operations director for two sites and chemistry director during his career, which includes experience at Oyster Creek Generating Station and Limerick Generating Station, where he earned his Senior Reactor Operator License.

Johnny also served the United States Navy for nearly ten years as an engineering watch supervisor. He earned a Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison State College and a master of business administration from Webster University.
